Civics – The study of the rights and duties of citizenship.
West End POWER and the McKees Rocks Community Development Corporation are co-hosting this Community Education Civics Series.
The series was created to provide a space where citizens can learn not only about the importance of voting but also gain a better understanding of their local level elected officials and the offices they hold as well as the functions of those offices.
Join us online each Wednesday at 6 p.m. to learn about your rights as a citizen. The weekly virtual civics workshops begin Sept. 9 and run through Oct. 28.
