A renewed Sheraden Park could include an expanded green space and pedestrian bridge that connects the park to downtown McKees Rocks. The feasibility of this related project is currently being explored by McKees Rocks CDC.
A master plan is being developed by the City of Pittsburgh Department of City Planning for the park and community members are encouraged to attend several upcoming meetings on the subject.
Community meetings are from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sheraden Healthy Active Living Center, 720 Sherwood Ave., Sheraden on the following dates:
- Thursday, September 26, 2019
- Thursday, October 24, 2019
- Thursday, December 5, 2019
- Thursday, January 23, 2020
