Job Description for Crane Operators
- Make sure machines have coils out for their orders
- Loading and unloading of trucks in a timely manner (Lane Steel trucks come before any others)
- When unloading material you must record the following on the receiving reports:
- Weight
- Mic
- Measure
- Inspect condition
- When shipping out material:
- Check pick-up number on bill of lading
- Tear off computer tag stubs and turn them in with Lane copy of bill of lading
- Make sure load is loaded as per bill of lading loading instructions
- We are a small company so your supervisor could ask you to perform other duties
