Introducing: Annemarie Malbon, Neighborhood Stabilization Intern

Though originally from southwestern Virginia, Annemarie now considers the Pittsburgh region her home. After receiving her Bachelors of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University, Annemarie served two years as an AmeriCorps member with Habitat for Humanity, Charlotte, N.C. and Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh, where she discovered her passion for working with the community.

Her role at MRCDC entails developing and piloting a resident and property survey, coordinating community volunteer projects; and develop a comprehensive neighborhood stabilization program.

Annemarie is currently pursuing her Masters of Social Work in Community Organizing at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining MRCDC, she interned for Operation Better Block in Homewood and with Heritage Community Initiatives in Braddock.
