McKees Rocks Councilwoman Sarah Harvey (Ward 2) is raising money (for materials and labor) to pay for a new art mural to be painted on the wall in front of 3rd Street Park in McKees Rocks.
To help get this project launched, the McKees Rocks Community Development Corporation has gifted a matching donation of up to $500 total to the project. Any donations made to the mural fundraiser beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20 will be matched dollar for dollar. This means a $25 donation will actually double to be $50.
This vibrant, beautiful mural was unanimously approved by McKees Rocks Borough Council late last year, 2019, when artist Stevo Sadvory presented at a public meeting.
