McKees Rocks Community Development Corporation (MRCDC) invites the public to attend a town hall on Nov. 12, 2025, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. regarding the lower Chartiers Avenue roadway improvement streetscape project.

Streetscape aesthetics – Lower Chartiers Avenue is being developed to promote multimodal transportation safety and create cohesive, community-friendly spaces along the project area.

Your input is needed. We’ll be discussing everything from styles for trash cans and benches to lighting and transit stop needs.

“We want to include the public in this decision-making process and receive input on the design options associated with the streetscape improvements,” says Jeb Feldman, director of economic development.

The in-person meeting will be held at the Roxian Theatre, 425 Chartiers Ave., McKees Rocks.

“The feedback we receive at this public meeting will help to narrow down the concepts and tailor the streetscape improvement designs,” said Feldman.
