Over the next few years, McKees Rocks will see important changes focused on housing, neighborhood improvements, and shared community spaces. From MRCDC’s move to a new downtown headquarters they will share with LEVEL’s “The HUB,” to new affordable apartments and renovated homes for local buyers, these projects are centered on supporting residents and strengthening the community.

At the same time, work is underway to improve how our streets, sidewalks, and public spaces function day to day. Planned upgrades along lower Chartiers Avenue, new green space, parking improvements, and continued blight cleanup are all aimed at making McKees Rocks safer, more welcoming, and easier to get around.
