Phase I of McKees Rocks Community Development Corporation’s lower Chartiers Avenue streetscape project is in the design phase and we’re looking for your input on aesthetics.
The goal is to complete design work by the end of 2026. If all goes well, construction could begin sometime in 2027 and take about a year to complete, says Jeb Feldman, the MRCDC’s economic development director.
The survey asks a number of questions, such as what is the identity of McKees Rocks? Another question asks respondents to characterize the “vibe” for lower Chartiers Avenue, with the choices being “traditional re-defined,” “Rust Belt revive” “or urban flow.”
