Join us in welcoming Adrienne Roberts to the executive committee of the MRCDC Board of Directors.

Roberts, who joined the board in January 2018, is a transplant from the City of Pittsburgh to McKees Rocks and later Stowe. Roberts has been making a difference in the Sto-Rox region for the past 30 years.

“I just roll my sleeves up and get in,” says Roberts of her volunteer spirit. In addition to her many volunteer pursuits, Roberts also serves as a trustee at Second Baptist Church in McKees Rocks and is a former school director with the Sto-Rox district.

She also works as the director of the positive parenting program at Focus on Renewal which is part of Allegheny County’s family support network.

“You need to value and give back to your community and be a part of it. Remember no place is perfect,” says Roberts, who wants to see good things continue to happen in the Sto-Rox region.

Roberts joins President Tony Skender, Treasurer Craig Weber and Secretary Jason Corrado as an executive officer.
