Help Support Our Coro Fellow

Ryann Tanap completed a fellowship with the McKees Rocks Community Development Corporation in early March. During her time with us, she launched the Sto-Rox Youth Partnership, an initiative that connects all local youth programming. McKees Rocks CDC is very grateful for our time with Ryann, and hope that you’ll consider supporting her endeavor. The following is a message from Ms. Tanap:

Hello,
As some of you know, I just wrapped up my project placement with the McKees Rocks CDC. I had the privilege to work on the Sto-Rox Youth Partnership; it’s been quite an experience convening so many dedicated leaders that are passionate about serving youth in the community.
I’m reaching out because the eleven other Coro Pittsburgh Fellows recently kicked off fundraising for their National Affairs Week trip to Washington, D.C. in May. Every year, the fellows travel to D.C. for one week to engage policy makers, thought leaders, and national nonprofits, to dig into what makes our country tick.
This year, we are focusing on three topics: education, healthcare, and economic development. I’m very excited about education and healthcare, because I hope to be a thought leader in mental health. My goal is to educate and advocate for mental wellness, health and safety among young people.
I hope you’ll join me in helping us get there by giving to my fundraising page or sharing this with your networks. We need to raise $9,894 in order to travel to D.C. –  that covers our transportation, hotel rooms, as well as food during the trip. You can see the exact budget here (click “See More”). My personal goal is to raise at least $550 to contribute to this fun. We’re very excited about this opportunity, and I for one am excited to see the new knowledge and creative solutions we bring back from D.C.!
Thanks so much in advance!

Best,
Ryann Tanap
